Alumni network
Past DPI&F employees can continue to keep in touch with the department, their former colleagues and the latest industry news by joining the DPI&F alumni network.
Alumni can share their wealth of talent and experience by mentoring a new DPI&F staff member.
Membership includes:
- e-newsletter on the latest departmental and industry news. View the current newsletter edition
- local alumni events held throughout the year in each region. Alumni events are published in the e-newsletter
- mentoring program facilitated across the state with employees at all levels, to share experiences and knowledge
- network of contacts to facilitate enquiries on industry opportunities and issues, colleague contact and general advice
- emergency response volunteering to access additional assistance during high-response industry situations.
The DPI&F alumni network is a free service, and is supported around Queensland by departmental alumni contacts in each region.
